The highly anticipated third installment in the ‘Welcome’ franchise has been making news since its announcement. The film’s cast includes Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade, and Raveena Tandon, among others. The production has concluded its first filming period in Mumbai.
According to reports, this agenda included an extravagant dance routine with 500 performers. Furthermore, News18 revealed that the production team brought in 200 horses for a dramatic action sequence while assuring the animals’ safety throughout. This ambitious scenario was shot on a vast set in Film City, with horses sourced from stables in Mumbai, Mahabaleshwar, and Lonavla. After 40 days of filming, the first schedule is complete, and the actors and crew are preparing for the next phase.
However, there were some hiccups. Sanjay Dutt reportedly departed the film after 15 days of shooting due to screenplay issues and schedule conflicts. Dutt was expected to have a major role in the film and had already filmed a few scenes. The filmmakers have yet to make a formal comment on his departure.
In addition to this, Akshay Kumar recently wrapped up the first schedule of ‘Jolly LLB 3’ alongside Arshad Warsi in Rajasthan.
