Divya Agarwal, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT, has addressed and dismissed rumors about her divorce from businessman Apurva Padgaonkar. Earlier this year, the couple tied the knot, and recently, Divya took to Instagram Stories to clear the air.
In her note, Divya stated, “I made no noise. I made no comments or stories. I deleted 2500 posts. Yet the media chose to see and react only to my marriage. It’s funny how people see and expect things from me. I have always done things people never expected from me. And what they are expecting now – babies or divorce … none of it is happening (side eyes emoji).”
She continued, “In reality, my first pinned post on my profile is what I want to be talked about from now on. Every movie ends with a happily ever after, and by God’s grace, my husband is snoring away to glory right next to me!”
Divya and Apurva celebrated their wedding in February with a traditional Marathi ceremony in Mumbai. They shared their joy on Instagram with beautiful photos from the event. For the occasion, Divya wore a gorgeous purple lehenga with a pink ombre effect and intricate embroidery, paired with a matching dupatta and layered diamond and emerald jewelry. She also adorned traditional chooda with kaleera and the customary Mundavalya. Apurva matched her look with a purple kurta featuring similar prints.
Their pre-wedding festivities included a glamorous cocktail party and a mehendi ceremony, both attended by close friends and family. Divya and Apurva got engaged in 2022 and announced their wedding in December 2023. Prior to her relationship with Apurva, Divya dated Varun Sood, whom she met on Ace Of Space and Splitsvilla. They ended their relationship in 2022.
