The Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) in Pune has granted bail to a teenage driver involved in a deadly accident in which his Porsche crashed with a motorcycle, killing two people. As part of the bail terms, the JJB ordered the child to work with traffic police for 15 days and write an essay about road accidents.
The terrible event occurred early Sunday morning in Pune’s Kalyaninagar district, when a speeding Porsche slammed the motorbike from behind. The crash, which occurred at 2:30 a.m., resulted in fatalities.
The 17-year-old juvenile operating the automobile comes from a well-known family in the city’s real estate industry. Notably, the Porsche involved in the collision was driving without a registration number. As a result, the driver’s father has been implicated in the case, and legal proceedings have begun against the institution that sold alcohol to the kid.
After being apprehended, the kid was taken before the Juvenile Justice Board on Sunday evening. Despite the police’s justification for prosecuting the driver as an adult, the JJB denied the motion and granted bail with certain restrictions.
