PM Modi claimed that the Opposition’s divisive practices, including vote bank politics, had resulted in communal tensions that had persisted for more than six decades. He said that his government’s actions revealed the true character of these techniques, which were disguised as secularism.
PM Modi singled out the INDI alliance and the Samajwadi Party, claiming that their involvement in appeasement politics has resulted in a decline in social peace. He chastised them for their disrespectful statements about the Ram Temple, which indicated a lack of devotion to religious tolerance and respect. PM Modi defended the CAA, emphasizing its humanitarian side, particularly the start of awarding Indian citizenship to long-term exiles who were victims of religious split. He emphasized the significance of providing legal recognition and security to these excluded groups. PM Modi also praised Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla’s recent delivery of citizenship certificates to 14 applicants, which marked a big step forward in the CAA implementation process. He characterized the voter turnout in Srinagar during Phase 4 of the Lok Sabha elections as evidence of the people’s excitement for democracy and rejection of divisive politics, notably attempts to repeal Article 370 and participate in vote bank tactics.
With the Lok Sabha elections nearing conclusion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated his commitment to the welfare of Uttar Pradesh, a key state in the electoral landscape. He urged residents to reject divisive narratives in favor of unity and progress for the country’s collective good.
