Salman Khan, the Bollywood superstar, recently unveiled his forthcoming action thriller “Sikandar,” which will be released on Eid in 2025. The film is his first collaboration with famed filmmaker AR Murugadoss, and production will begin in June 2024. According to Mid Day, Murugadoss is working on several projects, including a Tamil action picture with Sivakarthikeyan, tentatively named ‘SK23.’ To ensure a smooth transition to “Sikandar,” Murugadoss intends to finish a significant section of ‘SK23’ before focusing his attention on Salman’s project.
According to the source, the intention is to begin “Sikandar’s” initial schedule in May, with Murugadoss returning to ‘SK23’ for a brief period in June. From July forward, his whole emphasis will be on “Sikandar.” The initial shot will take held in Mumbai, with site scouting now underway. Salman Khan is also planned for a photoshoot at the end of May, with principal photography set to begin after June 20.
Murugadoss is prioritizing the action sequences in “Sikandar,” which are being choreographed by action directors. Salman Khan, who is famed for completing his own stunts, has already begun training and has modified his workout routine to obtain a chiseled figure. Salman unveiled “Sikandar” on Instagram during Eid, uploading a title slate that stated, “Sajid Nadiadwala presents Salman Khan in and as Sikandar.” This movie marks Murugadoss’ much-anticipated return to Hindi cinema following his 2016 film, “Akira.”
