What did the Jonas Brothers do at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Walt Disney World?

The force is strong with these brothers. What better way to kick off the “Happiness Begins” world tour than with a trip to the happiest place on earth? On August 9, 2019, the group paid a visit to some stormtroopers in Batuu, the planet visitors travel to in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Orlando.

Although the theme park extension is not open to the public, cast members and some guests have access to the Galaxy’s Ege and its new ride, Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. When fans found out the boy band was in Disney, a few responded on social media.

“The Jonas Brothers are at Disney World right now, and I want to cry! I’m literally on my way to start my new job at Disney, and I get to see the Jonas Brothers in concert tomorrow! All my life dreams are coming true, and I’m so not mentally prepared for this all,” said one Twitter user.

The Jonas brothers are at Disney World, so not only am I not at Disney World today, which is bad enough. I’m also not at Disney World on the same day as the Jonas brothers,” said another Twitter user. “Life is so unfair.”

The Jonas Brothers stopped in Orlando for their ‘Happiness Begins’ Tour

Of course, visiting Walt Disney World wasn’t the only thing the Jonas Brothers did in Orlando. A few hours later, the boy band performed a concert for their ‘Happiness Begins’ tour, which extends until February 2020. As for their time with the resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, that only lasted for a limited time.

“Has anyone seen Kylo Ren anywhere? We found a couple of his Stormtroopers,” the Jonas Brothers tweeted.

For live performances, the Jonas Brothers sometimes return to their Disney roots, playing songs like “Lovebug,” as well as hits off of their newest album, Happiness Begins. Tickets are still available for performances in select cities.

The Jonas Brothers are not the first celebrities to stop at Walt Disney World

The original cast of Star Wars, including Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, and Harrison Ford, visited Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland. There, they opened the theme park extension in honor of Peter Mayhew. Actor Matt Damon also visited Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland.

Prior to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening, other celebrities visited the Orlando theme park. That includes JD McCrary and Shahadi Wright Joseph, the voices of young Simba and young Nala in Disney’s photo-real adaptation of The Lion King.
